“Bekah was a Godsend!
I was so thankful for all her suggestions & guidance during my labor & delivery.
She was truly a calming presence and
I felt more empowered as I implemented her wisdom.”

— Sheila

Bekah was everything I didn't know I needed the day of my sons birth. She was such a blessing.
I had my first home birth with Bekah as my doula. She supported me emotionally and physically every step of the way. My midwife was very hands off and Bekah did such a good job of
stepping in to help me when she saw I needed help and encouragement.
From hip squeezes, to position changes, to washing the dishes, she really does it all.
She's a listening ear and a true warrior for women. At our postpartum check up she came to my home and spent time checking in on me and baby but also sitting in the floor and playing with
my three year old. She truly loves what she does and you can see her passion pour out of her just from having a simple conversation. I'd choose Bekah every time as my doula!

— Gracie

I cannot recommend Bekah highly enough!
She went above and beyond to support me during my unplanned induction at the hospital.
Her tireless dedication, calm demeanor, and expert guidance were invaluable during such an unexpected and emotional experience. She was by my side every step of the way, ensuring I felt heard, informed, and empowered throughout the process. Her presence truly made a world of difference, and I am so grateful to have had her as part of my birth team!

Bekah was a doula for me in so many ways.  I originally intended to have a home birth.
Bekah provided a significant amount of valuable information about pregnancy and
preparing for birth throughout my prenatal time.  My water broke at 40 weeks and 4 days,
and I thought I would soon have my home birth!  However contractions became consistent
and then subsided after 16 hours of my waters being broken.
Then I passed a significant amount of meconium, and it was determined my baby was breach.
At that point Bekah accompanied me to my midwife's practice, and discussions began about a hospital transfer.  While I was devastatated, I realized I had to do what was best for baby and me.  Bekah helped my husband and I to understand what to expect, as she assists many women with hospital births. She accompanied us to OB triage at the hospital where we met with
physicians who were willing to discuss a breach vaginal delivery with me. After an ultrasound determined my baby was in the footling breach position, lots of risks were discussed with us.
Bekah helped me navigate conversations with nursing staff and providers regarding
tests, interventions, and my rights as a patient.
Since I had not prepared for a hospital birth, her assistance was invaluable.
I initially felt like she wasn't getting to serve her purpose by offering me the
comfort measures I intended for her to assist with during labor,
however I realized her purpose shifted to become an advocate for me.
I elected to proceed with a c-section, and she helped my husband and I understand that
process regarding delivery of the baby and how my baby would be cared for in the PACU.
After delivery, Bekah stayed with me while I was taken to my room and continued to
give advice and advocate for me.  I am so grateful for her advice, experience, and
genuine care she showed me and would recommend her over and over again as a doula!

“I hired Bekah just a few weeks before my due date and
she was so wonderful in accommodating that short timeline
and all throughout my labor and post partum.
She sent over many resources and we discussed
my plan for an unmedicated hospital birth.
She even made time to meet me and my husband in person.
The tools she brought for labor to help get through contractions were invaluable,
and she interfaced with the nurses as needed to allow me to labor in peace as much as possible.
I don't think we would have been able to have the unmedicated birth we wanted if not for her.
She is caring, understanding, and stands up for your wishes.
I would definitely have her at another birth.”

— Becca

“I know we thanked you when you left. I wanted to thank you again.
Like I said it didn’t even come close.
You coached us. You encouraged her.
You did everything and more exceeding expectations asking all the right questions.
You are beyond a gift to us and all mothers.
We are so thankful and proud to have you at and around our birth.
God has blessed us so dearly with you.
Id and when we have our next child you will be there Lord willing.”

— Shane (dad)

“I wholeheartedly believe that without Bekah I wouldn't have made it
through my Birth experience unmedicated.
She was prepared and supportive throughout the whole experience!”

— Pavanee

(Pt 1) “Where to begin? We hired Bekah at the very last minute in my pregnancy.
(Don't be like me.)
She kicked right into gear helping us!
She answered all my texts/calls when I needed her and was so compassionate.
When the day came that labor started she made sure to communicate with us and made it in the perfect time when I needed her! During labor she was so kind and helpful,
I truly believe I wouldn't/couldn't have done it without her.
Her support meant everything to me!
I am so glad I contacted Bekah and I now consider her a very good friend, not just a doula!
She is a WONDERFUL Doula!!
The counter pressures she used and techniques really did relieve some of the pain!
She made sure to ask what I wanted and
what I didn't. Thank you Bekah for everything!!

(Pt 2) My doula, Bekah… was also the
BIGGEST blessing.
She allowed me to labor in a safe space.
She used multiple approaches to help me find peace during labor and
without her, I truly believe I wouldn’t have the experience I did.
That’s why friends, you need a doula!
I transferred care to her late in the game,
but she has been extremely supportive
and I’m proud to call her a friend.”

— Jenna

“A friend brought me Bekah, and she changed everything.
She gave me so much courage and made me feel like I really could go unmedicated.
And when I began to doubt it, she continued to reassure me.
When I went into labor three days before I hit forty weeks,
she answered the phone immediately AND beat me to the hospital.
Throughout my labor, she was constant and consistent and anything you could ask for in a Doula.
She went above and beyond anything that I thought Doula should, and could be,
and exceeded my expectations in every possible way.
She had me change positions consistently to whatever was more comfortable.

After laboring 30 hours, a Cesarean was probably the safest option, but
because she knew my desire for a VBAC was great,
she helped me continue to advocate for myself.
My second birth ended in cesarean and while it was still beautiful,
having Bekah for the contractions during those 30 hours is something I will cherish forever.

She stayed with me and made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision making, and
when I decided to have a C-section, she didn't make me feel like I had failed or like my body had failed... but she continued to encourage me, reminding me that laboring unmedicated for 30 hours is
no easy feat and that what I did was amazing.

I could not have done it without her.
She is amazing.”
